Welcome to Cultivating Connection!  I’m Kate Kelley, a licensed mental health counselor in Florida and a Nationally Certified Counselor.  Things to know about me: I’m a people person, holder of hope, creative, adventurous, enthusiastic, warm extrovert who also loves solo time in nature and can hold nuance and ambiguity well.  I’ve spent the last 10 years working in a variety of school and university settings with people ranging from elementary to university, as well as private practice with adults. In each of these places, I’ve helped individuals learn more about themselves and their relationships and how to navigate the complexity of what it means to be human. 

Originally from Miami, I’ve been living in Orlando, the City Beautiful, for the last six years (with pitstops prior to that in Chicago, Branson, and Nashville).  I enjoy exploring cities, trying new things, themed parties, game nights, and spending time with family and friends.  When I’m not in the office, you can catch me outside: traveling, playing sports, rollerblading, or enjoying nature.

Fun fact: I have been to over 16 countries (and counting), and I have 10 nieces and nephews (and counting)!
